NH Hotel Group has unveiled its latest property in the Italian capital, with the opening of the five-star NH Collection Palazzo Cinquecento.
Located on Piazza dei Cinquecento, the hotel is housed within a building which has previously served as the headquarters of the city’s railway and postal service.
Art Nouveau details have been restored including the main staircase featuring geometric patterns, and facilities include 177 rooms, Italian eatery Grand Tour, a fifth floor cocktail bar facing the property’s 600 sqm rooftop terrace, a fitness centre and four meeting rooms.
NH Collection Palazzo Cinquecento is the 53rd NH Group property in Italy and the tenth NH Collection hotel in the country.
The group recently launched its upper upscale NH Collection brand in in the Netherlands, with the rebranding of three of its Amsterdam properties (see news April 11).
