New gym and spa for Marylebone Hotel

26 Apr 2011 by BusinessTraveller
A partnership between the Marylebone hotel and the Third Space gym company means guests of the luxury London property now have free access to extensive new fitness facilities. Adjoining the hotel in premises formerly run by Virgin Active, the Third Space is a high-end three-level gym and health club. It features a wide range of Technogym cardio equipment and free weights, a “retro gym” with ropes and beams, spinning and Power Plate zones, a studio offering a range of classes, an 18-metre swimming pool and sauna and steam rooms. There is also a spa with three treatment rooms, which is due to open in May. Using products by French brand Payot, its range of treatments will include packages geared towards business travellers with names such as “Traveller’s Rest” and “Business Break”. Hotel guests have direct internal access to the club, membership for which otherwise costs £129 per month. It is the Third Space’s second club, the first being located in London’s Soho. The 257-room Marylebone hotel is part of the Doyle Collection, which has two other properties in the capital, the Kensington and the Bloomsbury – click here for a review of the latter.
