Monarch adds Leeds Bradford base

Monarch Airlines is to launch 12 new routes from Leeds Bradford airport next summer, to destinations including Barcelona, Bodrum, Faro and Rome.

The carrier is establishing its sixth UK base at Leeds Bradford, expanding on its current flights from the airport to Munich, which will also continue next summer.

The twelve new routes are as follows (all twice weekly unless stated):

  • Antalya
  • Barcelona
  • Bodrum (July 22-September 16 only)
  • Dalaman
  • Faro (three flights per week)
  • Heraklion
  • Lanzarote
  • Larnaca
  • Majorca (four flights per week)
  • Menorca
  • Munich (three flights per week)
  • Rome
  • Tenerife

Monarch will base two A320 aircraft at Leeds Bradford airport, with flights starting in March 2013, and available for purchase now.
