The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group opened the doors to its first Atlanta property this week.

The hotel, which is situated 35 minutes from Atlanta International Airport in the prestigious Buckhead area of the Georgia capital, opened for the first time on May 1.

As well as 127 guest rooms, business travellers can make use of the six meeting rooms and an event concierge service, plus there are plenty of leisure facilities, including a 1,400 sq metre spa and a fitness centre.

“Our debut in the dynamic Atlanta market is an exciting opportunity to introduce Mandarin Oriental’s gracious hospitality to leisure and business travellers alike,” said the hotel’s general manager, Robert Lowe.

The Mandarin Oriental Atlanta is the group’s second property in the south east, after Miami. To mark its opening, Mandarin Oriental is offering guests staying for two nights the chance to enjoy a third night free. The offer is valid until 1 September this year.
