It will soon be possible to fly from London Gatwick to Kuala Lumpur and beyond. Malaysia Airlines will operate a twice-weekly summertime service from London’s second airport between June 22 and September 18, this year.

Services will be operated by two-class B777-200s. Flight MH7346 will depart Kuala Lumpur at 0025, arriving at Gatwick later the same morning at 0700. The return service MH7347 will leave at 1300, reaching Kuala Lumpur the next day at 0840. There are various connecting possibilities on offer at Kuala Lumpur for destinations in Asia and Australia.

Strangely, details of the new flights aren’t yet displayed on the Malaysia Airlines’ website and staff in London were unavailable for comment. But the schedules are listed, and bookings can be made through the websites of the online agents Expedia and Travelocity. The service was also advertised in yesterday’s Daily Mail.

Expedia is displaying a return fare in economy class of £669 with business class offered for £3,376. For more information visit expedia.co.uk, travelocity.co.uk, malaysiaairlines.com.
