Lufthansa launches mobile website
Published: 25/04/2008 - Filed under: News »
Lufthansa passengers can now book flights and check in online via a mobile version of the carrier’s website.
Visitors to mobile.lufthansa.com can access reservations using their PDA or internet-enabled phone, with other features including the ability to select their seat, check actual departure times and baggage regulations, and access worldwide lounge directories.
The announcement follows a similar launch of Silverjet’s mobile website earlier this month (see online news April 10). Users of the Lufthansa site will need a Miles and More card number and PIN, or a Lufthansa profile (which can be created at lufthansa.com) to access bookings via the mobile site. For further information and to be sent a direct link to the site via sms, visit lufthansa.com/mobile/uk.
