Liverpool John Lennon airport has opened new retail and food and beverage outlets as the final part of a £12 million development programme.
New facilities include the 90sqm Estuary Kitchen and Grill in the departure lounge, a Starbucks coffee outlet near to the airport information desk, and a branch of JD Sports in the departure lounge.
The new outlets are part of a £12m investment in the airport's infrastructure, including a reconfigured departure lounge and expanded security area.
Hampton by Hilton opened a property opposite the airport terminal building in October 1999 - for more information on this and a round-up of other new hotels in the city, click here.

This airport is a joke, the lack of public transport is second to none, the whole layout is awful and the whole emphasis is on making you buy things you dont need. Why on earth do they need a sports shop when they dont have any seats to sit on? How about toilets that dont stink of old urine or even some air bridges.
