Jumeirah to manage Meydan Hotel Dubai
Published: 06/07/2010 - Filed under: News »
Luxury hotel group Jumeirah is to add the Meydan Hotel to its portfolio of Dubai properties, following an agreement to manage the hotel, located within an “integrated racing, business and lifestyle hub”.
Jumeirah assisted the hotel in the role of service provider for its opening earlier this year, and has now signed a Letter of Understanding to manage the property, which will be known as Jumeirah The Meydan, Dubai.
The 285-room hotel forms part of Meydan City (Meydan meaning “meeting place”), a mixed use hub including ten fine-dining restaurants, a museum, Imax theatre, and the Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse.
The hotel itself features conference facilities, a business centre, restaurants and bars, a spa and a fitness centre, and joins other Jumeirah properties in Dubai including Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
