Jet2 to launch Leeds Bradford-Budapest route

Low-cost carrier Jet2 will fly twice-weekly between Leeds Bradford and Budapest from next March, adding to existing services from Manchester and Edinburgh to the Hungarian capital.
The new route will operate year-round from March 29, 2012, departing Leeds on Thursday at 0830 and on Sunday at 1530, arriving at 1230 and 1930 respectively, with the return legs leaving Budapest at 1305 on Thursday and 2005 on Sunday, arriving at 1505 and 2205 respectively.
The news continues Jet2’s recent expansion at Leeds Bradford airport, with a summer 2012 route to Berlin Schonefeld on June 1, 2012 (this airport will become Berlin Brandeberg airport from June 3, 2012 – see online news November 3).
