Jet2 launches seasonal Newark routes
Published: 13/06/2011 - Filed under: News »
Passengers can now buy tickets for Jet2’s seasonal flights to New York Newark from East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds / Bradford and Newcastle.
The low-cost carrier has operated these limited services in the past during peak demand, and this year will offer flights from East Midlands and Glasgow airports to Newark on November 17 using B757 aircraft, returning on November 20.
Leeds Bradford and Newcastle will benefit from two return flights each, departing on December 1 and 8 from both airports, and returning on December 4 and 11.
Tickets are now available for these routes – when Business Traveller checked online today (June 13) fares were available on the East Midland-Newark route for £390 including airport taxes and charges. Note however that there are “optional” fees and charges including checked luggage, seat selection and inflight meals.
