Jet2 expands at Newcastle
Published: 09/07/2010 - Filed under: News »
Low-cost carrier Jet2 is to launch five new routes from Newcastle later this year and early 2011, with flights to Prague, Krakow, Alicante, Faro and Toulouse.
Of particular interest to business travellers will be the routes to Prague and Krakow, as there are currently no direct services from the northeastern airport to either the Czech capital or Poland’s second largest city.
Prague will be served twice-weekly from November 5, while Krakow flights will operate twice weekly from March 28, 2011. Weekly flights to the aerospace hub of Toulouse will commence on May 22, 2011, while four-times weekly services to Alicante start on April 1, 2011, and three-times weekly flights to Faro commence on April 2, 2011.
