Intercontinental debuts in Moscow

IHG has opened its first Intercontinental property in Moscow, a 203-room hotel located on Tverskaya Street, the centre of the city’s shopping, nightlife and entertainment district.
Intercontinental Moscow features 19 suites, all-day dining restaurant Chekhonte offering a contemporary take on traditional Russian cuisine, P-Square Bar (after the nearby Pushkin Square), six meeting rooms, a 24-hour fitness centre, spa facilities and a business centre.
According to the hotel’s facebook page the property opened on December 1, joining five Holiday Inn hotels and a Crowne Plaza property in the Russian capital.
