Innside by Melia to debut in the UK
Published: 19/01/2012 - Filed under: News »
Melia Hotels International is to open its first four-star Innside property in the UK, a 208-room hotel located within Manchester’s First Street North development.
Melia acquired the Innside brand in 2007, and currently operates nine properties in Germany and one in Barcelona.
Innside Manchester will be situated next to a new cultural centre, designed by Dutch architectural firm Mecanoo, which is set to include a theatre, cinema, studios, a café and outdoor performance space.
The hotel will be the third property operated by Melia in the UK, joining the existing Melia White House opposite Regents Park, and the forthcoming Me London, located on the corner of the Strand and Aldwych and set to open before the Olympic Games (see online news November 30, 2011).
