Intercontinental Hotel Group’s boutique Hotel Indigo brand has debuted in Berlin, with an 81-room hotel located on Hardenbergstrasse in the west of the city.
Hotel Indigo Berlin Centre Hardenbergstrasse is located opposite the Charlottenburg campus of the Berlin University of Arts, close to Berlin Zoo and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.
Features include free wifi, Wohlfahrt's Restaurant and Bar, a fitness centre, and a boardroom with capacity for up to 12 delegates.
A second Indigo property is set to open on the city’s Alexanderplatz in May.
The Hotel Indigo brand debuted outside of North America in London’s Paddington district in 2009 (see online news January 20, 2009), and has since added properties in Liverpool and Glasgow, as well as a second hotel in London’s Tower Bridge.
