IHG launches Indigo brand in Russia

IHG will be launching its Indigo brand in Russia with the opening of the Hotel Indigo St. Petersburg Tchaikovskiy in summer 2012.
The property will occupy a 101-year-old townhouse. The 119-room hotel will also feature a restaurant and bar.
The hotel is located just 20 minutes from the Pulkovo International Airport and five minutes from the Moskovsky train station.
The InterContinental brand will also be making a comeback in Russia with the opening of the 203-guestroom InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya.
Additionally, in February 2012 the hotel company has plans to open an IHG Academy in Moscow. The school will train students in a three-year program for supervisory jobs in the hotel company.
