IHG will be launching its Indigo brand in Russia with the opening of the Hotel Indigo St. Petersburg Tchaikovskiy in summer 2012.

The property will occupy a 101-year-old townhouse. The 119-room hotel will also feature a restaurant and bar.

The hotel is located just 20 minutes from the Pulkovo International Airport and five minutes from the Moskovsky train station.

The InterContinental brand will also be making a comeback in Russia with the opening of the 203-guestroom InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya.

Additionally, in February 2012 the hotel company has plans to open an IHG Academy in Moscow. The school will train students in a three-year program for supervisory jobs in the hotel company.
