7 Mar 2012 by BusinessTraveller

Intercontinental Hotel Group is adding a new Black level of its Barclaycard loyalty credit card for UK customers, offering twice the number of points as the standard card, but with an annual fee of £99.

The new Priority Club Rewards Black Visa card offers four points for every £1 spent at IHG properties, and two points for every £1 spent elsewhere.

Cardholders will also get a free night voucher when they spend over £10,000 on the card, and 20,000 bonus points when they make their first purchase within three months of receiving the card.

The card has a £99 annual fee, and offers zero per cent interest on balance transfers for the first 12 months (2.99 per cent handling fee), with an APR of 39.7 per cent.
