Hyatt Hotels Corporation is to open three new properties in India during the current fiscal year, located in Hyderabad, Rameswaram and Delhi.
The group’s select service Hyatt Place brand will add properties in Hyderabad and Rameswaram, while Delhi will see a new hotel under Hyatt’s boutique-inspired Andaz offering.
Kurt Straub, Hyatt India Consultancy Vice-President (Operations) says, “I think we have the biggest number of hotels here in a single country outside the United States. At present, we have 24 properties in India and by end of this financial year, we will have 27.”
On April 2, the group opened Hyatt Regency in Chandigarh, the first Hyatt brand in the Indian union territory. The hotel is situated across five acres and has 211 rooms and suites.
