Hyatt House to debut in India

Hyatt will be launching its new extended-stay brand, Hyatt House, near Mumbai.
The 170-guestroom hotel will feature a multi-cuisine restaurant and bar, meeting rooms, a fitness center, business center and pool.
The Hyatt House Mumbai will be the first Hyatt House outside of the US. The brand just launched in September 2011.
The company has more growth planned for India including signed agreements for two Andaz hotels in Jaipur and Dehli; one Hyatt hotel in Raipur; 14 Hyatt Place hotels in Chakan, Delhi, Gurgaon, Goa, Hampi, Hyderabad, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Mohali, Munnar, Nashik, Sriperumbudur and Thiruvananthapuram; three Hyatt Regency hotels in Raipur, Hyderabad and Neemrana; and two Park Hyatt hotels in Delhi and Jaipur.
Hyatt has plans to open six hotels in India in 2012 under the Park Hyatt, Hyatt and Hyatt Place brands.
One of the six new properties will be the Park Hyatt Hyderabad. The 209-room hotel with 42 serviced apartments should open in the first quarter on the Banjara Hills near Hyderabad International Airport. The hotel will feature three dining options, banquet and conference space, a spa, a fitness center and retail outlets.
Another hotel opening in 2012 is the Park Hyatt Chennai. The 204-guestroom hotel should open mid-year in the capital city of Tamil Nadu. The hotel will also feature dining options, banquet and conference space, a spa, a fitness center and retail outlets.
The 116-guestroom Hyatt Hampi is slated to open in the third quarter of 2012. The hotel will be near the Bellary industrial district and feature a multi-cuisine restaurant, meeting rooms, fitness center and pool.
The 104-guestroom Hyatt Place Raipur will open in the fourth quarter of this year in a retail-and-office complex in the capital of Chhattisgarh. The hotel will have a multi-cuisine restaurant and bar, ballroom and meeting space, business center, fitness center and pool.
The Hyatt Place Pune, Hinjewadi, a 117-guestroom hotel, will open in the third quarter in the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park. The hotel will have a multi-cuisine restaurant, meeting space, business center, fitness center and pool.
The 200-guestroom Hyatt Place Bangalore, Whitefield will open in the fourth quarter as part of a mixed-use development. The hotel will feature a restaurant, meeting space and fitness center.
The company currently has 53 hotels in development in India.
