Hoxton announces latest £1 sale

London’s Hoxton Urban Lodge will once again offer 500 rooms for just £1 from this Thursday lunchtime, but you’ll have to be quick, as the bargain stays went in just 13 minutes last time round.
The budget-chic hotel periodically runs the promotion, offering 500 rooms at £1, and a further 500 rooms at £29. This time the bookings are valid for stays between May 14 and August 31.
It’s a great offer, but inevitably it’s also a popular one, with over 300,000 people trying to book when the hotel last ran the promotion in January. In our experience the website can run extremely slowly when the offer launches, and you’ll need to be prompt to stand a chance of being one of the lucky few, as all 1,000 rooms sold out in just 13 minutes last time.
The lastest promotion starts at 1200 BST this Thursday (May 13) – for more information visit hoxton.com/offers.php. Normal rates at the hotel range between £59 and £199. For a review of the property from 2007, click here.
