Published: 29/03/2010 - Filed under: News »
Hilton Worldwide is to open a 164-room conversion property overlooking the River Nile this summer.
The 88-room, 76-suite Hilton Zamalek Residence Cairo is due to open in July, and is situated on Zamalek Island, around 20km from the city’s airport.
The property is undergoing a $20m renovation prior to reopening, and will feature five restaurants, three meeting rooms, a business centre with three further breakout rooms, a health club with spa, sauna, steam room and gym, and an outdoor pool.
The Hilton Zamalek Residence Cairo will join three existing Hilton properties in the city – the Ramses Hilton, Hilton Cairo World Trade Centre Residence and Hilton Pyramids Golf Resort.

Hilton Worldwide also has the Conrad in Cairo, making this the fifth property in the City.

Thanks for your comment alexwadde. I was referring to Hilton core-branded properties, but you are absolutely right that there is also a Conrad property in the city.
