The Hilton portfolio of brands continues to grow in the UK, with the official opening of the Hampton by Hilton Corby.
The 88-room property represents the first Hampton by Hilton property in the UK, joining the Hilton core brand, and recent entrants Doubletree by Hilton (see online news February 1, 2008) and Hilton Garden Inn (see online news August 5, 2008).
The hotel is located close to Corby train station, within the town’s Rockingham Leisure Park, and is being operated under a franchise agreement by owners Hotel Solutions London Limited. Facilities include queen size beds, complimentary hot breakfast, a fitness centre and meeting space.
The Hampton brand is described by Hilton as “a new kind of economy hotel that is designed to appeal to business and leisure travellers alike”. Hilton also plans to open a second Hampton property in the UK later this year, attached to Liverpool John Lennon airport (see online news January 12).
