Hilton Worldwide has opened its tenth Doubletree hotel in the UK, a 179-room property next to Newcastle airport.
Rooms at the Doubletree by Hilton Newcastle International Airport feature free wifi, 37-inch TVs, soundproof windows, tea and coffee facilities, and Crabtree and Evelyn bathroom amenities.
Hotel facilities include a fitness centre, coffee lounge, 200sqm of meeting space including a ballroom for up to 100 guests, Colombus Bar, and Italian-eatery Fratellos.
The new hotel adds to four UK properties currently being rebranded under the Doubletree offering as part of Hilton Worldwide’s acquisition of the Mint Hotel’s brand (see online news November 9).
