Hertz launches Rent a Boat option

25 Jul 2012 by BusinessTraveller

Car rental firm Hertz has launched a Rent a Boat service in Amsterdam, giving travellers the option to explore the Dutch city by water from €5 each per hour.

Hertz Rent a Boat also offers motorboats, taxi and open boats with the option to rent a large boat for €150.

Additional extras include the hire of a private chef, or tailor made catering services for corporate events.

Renters will be able to hop on and off exploring sights, or depending on the vessel enjoy amenities onboard such as kitchen, stereo system, electricity and bar.

Michel Taride, president of Hertz International, said: “Whether renters are looking for a relaxing cruise along the water with an experienced captain or want an adventure as they navigate themselves round the city’s water ways, Rent a Boat is an ideal option.”

Special yellow canal cruisers can accommodate 20 people plus a skipper for €7 each, and are located at the quay of Restaurant Liefde, Bilderdijkpark.
