Flybe is to offer a year-round, four-times weekly service between Newquay and Manchester, one of the routes being dropped by Air Southwest from September.
Newquay airport looked set to lose its year-round link with Manchester when Air Southwest announced it would be ceasing operations on September 30, with Newquay routes terminating on September 14 – see online news July 15. Bmibaby offers a summertime service ending on October 28.
Flybe will now operate the route from October 30, offering flights on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday – for the full timetable see below. The carrier also offers flights from the Cornish town to London Gatwick.
