Flybe is to launch flights between Cornwall's Newquay airport and Liverpool John Lennon this summer.
The weekly route will operate on Saturdays between May 21 and September 24, departing Newquay at 1650, and departing Liverpool at 1830.
The one hour 15 minute service compares favourably to five-hour plus journey times by car or train.
Flybe already offers flights from Liverpool to the Isle of Man, Belfast City, Edinburgh and Amsterdam.
Easyjet has previously offered seasonal flights between Newquay and Liverpool.
