First Hotels joins Global Hotel Alliance
Published: 09/10/2009 - Filed under: News »
Scandinavian hotel chain First Hotels has become the 12th member of the Global Hotel Alliance, adding 46 properties in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
GHA already counts the likes of Kempinski, Leela, Omni and Dusit among its growing portfolio, and recently added a partnership with British Airways’ Executive Club (see online news July 3).
Commenting on GHA’s latest addition, CEO Chris Hartley said:
“Scandinavia is a key source market for many of our members and it has significant growth potential. A truly independent, regional brand with 46 unique hotels across Norway, Denmark and Sweden, First perfectly fits the role as GHA’s member for Scandinavia."
GHA is due to launch a global loyalty programme early next year – to read a recent interview with Chris Hartley click here.
