Eos Airlines has made a number of changes to its Club 48 loyalty scheme including tiered membership levels and points for all classes of travel.

The carrier has revised earning levels for the scheme which will allow all passengers to earn points for flights taken. Advance tickets bought in S, T or W class (which previously did not earn points with the Club 48 scheme), now earn 3,750 points per flight – those in I, A, Z, D and R continue to earn 7,500 points, while last-minute purchases in C and J class now earn an increased level of 11,250 points.

Eos has also introduced a tiered membership system with bonus points for the most loyal customers. Those flying five return trips or earning 75,000 base points during 2008 will qualify for Orion status, which brings with it another 25,000 bonus points, plus annual membership of the Priority Pass scheme (giving access to over 500 airport lounges worldwide).

Ten round trips or 150,000 points qualify passengers for Thea membership, which earns them 50,000 bonus points and 50 per cent additional Club 48 points on any subsequent flights. Members taking 15 round trips (or earning 250,000 points) will qualify for the highest tier – Helios – giving the cardholder 150,000 Club 48 bonus points and double points on subsequent flights.
