Emirates is to add a sixth daily flight between London and Dubai from March 27.
As flagged up on our forum, the Gulf carrier will add flight EK032, departing London at 1950 and landing into Dubai at 0550 the following day, and EK031, leaving Dubai at 1130 and landing into Heathrow at 1610.
The route will initially be served with a three-class B777-300ER aircraft (meaning temporarily the carrier will not offer an all-A380 service to London), before being upgraded to the superjumbo from June 1.
Emirates’ existing flights between Heathrow and Dubai depart London at 0905, 1415, 1655, 2040 and 2215, with the return legs leaving Dubai at 0230, 0745, 0940, 1415 and 1545.
The carrier is due to take delivery of 37 aircraft in 2016, including 21 A380s and 16 B777-300ERs (see news January 18).
