Easyjet joins Nectar loyalty scheme

13 Mar 2011 by BusinessTraveller

Members of the Nectar loyalty programme will soon be able to redeem points against Easyjet flights

The low-cost carrier joins the Nectar scheme from March 22, when members will be able to use points to pay for Easyjet flights (including taxes and charges), with no restrictions or time limits. There is also the option to combine points and cash to purchase tickets.

The redemption rate will be similar to that of fellow Nectar partners Eurostar and Expedia, where 500 points is worth £2.50.

Easyjet says that customers should go to nectar.com from March 22 for more details. Nectar estimates that around 300,000 flights per annum will be booked using points.

For more information visit easyjet.com, nectar.com.
