Easyjet has confirmed the launch date and timings for its new Manchester-Moscow service.
The low-cost carrier announced plans to operate the route last month (see online news November 20), and will launch four times-weekly flights between the two cities on March 28, with tickets for the new route now on sale. Lead-in fares will start from £47.49 each way.
Flights will depart Manchester at 0740 on Wednesday and Sunday, and 1340 on Monday and Thursday, arriving into Moscow at 1435 and 2035 respectively.
The return legs will leave the Russian capital at 1515 on Wednesday and Sunday, and at 2115 on Monday and Thursday, landing back in the UK at 1625 and 2225 respectively.
Easyjet is also set to launch flights from Gatwick to Moscow next year, having been awarded the right to operate the route ahead of Virgin Atlantic earlier this year (see online news October 25).
The exact launch date and timings for this route have yet to be released, but the carrier says that tickets will go on sale in mid-January.
