Low-cost carrier Easyjet will add extra frequencies to its routes from Belfast to Edinburgh, London and Manchester this winter, as well as introducing new flights to Birmingham from the Northern Irish capital.
The increased frequencies will take effect on October 28, as follows:
- Flights between Belfast and Edinburgh will increase from three to four daily on Monday, and from two to three daily on Tuesday and Wednesday
- Flights between Belfast and Manchester will increase from two to three daily on Monday, Thursday and Friday
- Flights between Belfast and Gatwick, Luton, Southend and Stansted will see “extra flights on weekday mornings and evenings, particularly aimed at business travellers”
The additional frequencies are in addition to the previously announced new route between Belfast and Birmingham, which starts on October 22 (see online news April 19).
