Boeing’s world tour of its B787 Dreamliner aircraft will take in the UK later this month, with visits to Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester airports.
The sixth leg of the Dream Tour departs Seattle on April 21, arriving at Heathrow on April 22. It will then fly to Manchester on April 23, then Gatwick on April 25, back to Heathrow on April 27, and then on to Norway and Italy at the start of May, before returning to the US.
Boeing says that customers, employees, partners, government officials and other stakeholders will be invited to tour aircraft ZA003 at each location, but there will not be opportunities for public tours.
Japanese carrier ANA was the first airline to take delivery of the Dreamliner last year (see online news September 27, 2011), with rival carrier JAL launching its B787 aircraft last month (see online news March 27).
