Doubletree by Hilton to debut in Ireland
Published: 03/01/2013 - Filed under: News »
Hilton Worldwide is to open its first Doubletree hotel in Ireland next month, following the refurbishment and conversion of the existing Morrison Hotel in Dublin.
The 138-room property is located on the banks of the River Liffey, and will be renamed The Morrison Dublin, a Doubletree by Hilton Hotel.
The hotel has undergone a €7m refurbishment programme including a new interior design, two new restaurants and a bar, a 24-hour business centre, a split level fitness centre and 410 sqm of meeting space.
The Doubletree hotel will join three existing Hilton Hotels and Resorts properties in the Irish capital, as well as the group’s Conrad Dublin.
Hilton launched the Doubletree offering in the UK / Ireland region in 2008, and the group now has seven properties under the brand in London alone (see online news October 24, 2012).
