Airport transfer firm Dot2Dot has announced a Terminal 5 door-to-door service.
The new service will launch on March 27 (the official opening date of T5), and will serve over 600 London hotels, as well as corporate and residential addresses in central London and Canary Wharf.
Dot2Dot will operate a service desk within T5’s arrivals hall for pre-booked check-ins and walk-up bookings, and during peak times the company will run 16 shuttles per hour between the terminal and London addresses.
The firm is currently offering a 20 per cent discount on Heathrow transfers booked before the end of March, for travel before November 1, 2008.

Do NOT use this service if you want to get into central London in the morning in less than 2 hours! I waited 45 minutes to be escorted to a shuttle and only made it home in under two hours as I was the second drop off - thinking it was a one off, I recommended the service to my brother in law: an hour after presenting himself at the counter, he had not yet left Heathrow. A great idea which does not work in practice. Pitty.

I agree. DO NOT use this service unless you have lots of time and particularly like sitting around airport spaces. I committed myself by advising this service my ETA and Flight Details. It does not matter - The counters are not manned and their staff (only one) is really stretched. I had a long queue in front of me, and you have to wait untill they have sufficient people going your way, and then, it worked out that I had to see everyone off as I was on the last stop - the fifth and lucky me. It took me nearly three hours.
