The carrier commences daily flights between New York Newark and the German city today (June 9), as part of a raft of new services launched by the merged United Continental Holdings.
The Newark-Stuttgart service will be of most interest to transatlantic travellers, but other new routes launching over the next month include LA and San Francisco to Hilo, Hawaii operated by Continental, San Francisco to Guadalajara, Mexico with Continental, San Francisco to Idaho Falls with United Express (operated by Skywest), and New York Newark to Port-au-Prince, Haiti with Continental.
Commenting on the new routes Jim Compton, United’s executive vice president and chief revenue officer said “These new flights from our New York and West Coast hubs continue to build on our complementary route networks to provide unmatched global flight options for travellers”.
