Cityjet enhances online travel options

Cityjet has completed enhancements to its website allowing customers to access their bookings online to make amendments, check flight status and check in via mobile devices.

The Manage Your Booking tool, available at www.cityjet.com/manage-your-booking, will allow customers to modify flight details, change seats, organise an upgrade and request ticket refunds.

The Flight Status feature, available at www.cityjet.com/flight-status, gives passengers real-time updates on their flight number, boarding gate number and departure and arrival times.

While the carrier’s mobile offering currently allows customers to check in and view their flight status from their phone, by March 2012 this will be improved to include options to book flights and manage reservations.

Cityjet is a full subsidiary of Air France/KLM and operates non-stop services to 17 European destinations from its base at London City Airport.

This move follows the carrier’s trial of a Twitter concierge service which aims to respond to customer needs as quickly as possible via the popular microblogging site (see online news July 27, 2011).
