Cityjet adds LCY-Pau route

Air France subsidiary Cityjet is to launch three-times weekly flights between London City and the French city of Pau from April 2.
The new route will operate on Monday, Thursday and Saturday using Avro RJ85 jets configured for 95 passengers in a 3-3 configuration, with 32 inches of seat pitch and complimentary food in-flight.
Flights will depart LCY at 0910 on Monday and Thursday, and 1200 on Saturday, arriving at 1215 and 1505 respectively. The return leg will leave Pau at 1250 on Monday and Thursday, and 1025 on Saturday, arriving at 1345 and 1130 respectively.
Ryanair offers the only other direct flight from London (Stansted) to the French city, situated in the southwest of France close to the Pyrenees, and the capital of the Bearn region. The budget carrier also flies three-times weekly, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Cityjet will also launch twice-weekly flights from Amsterdam and a three-times weekly service from Dublin (one direct and two via Amsterdam) to Pau from the start of April.
The new routes will launch ahead of forthcoming Cityjet services to Avignon and Toulon in May.
