Budget launches promotions with Middle Eastern carriers

Members of the loyalty programmes of Qatar Airways, Emirates, Etihad, Oman Air and Kuwait Airways can benefit from discounts and bonus miles when booking with Budget Rent-a-Car over the next few months.

First up members of Qatar’s Privilege Club booking rentals before November 30 will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three prizes of 250,000, 150,000 and 75,000 Qmiles. In addition all members will receive double miles for each rental, and Gold and Silver cardholders will receive 500 bonus Qmiles for each day of rental.

Meanwhile Emirates Skywards members will receive a 10 per cent discount on Budget rentals in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia, to celebrate the carrier’s new route to Durban. Those opting for a chauffeur drive service will receive double Skywards miles. This promotion is valid for bookings made before January 31, 2010.

Finally members of Etihad’s, Oman Air’s and Kuwait Airways’ frequent flyer programmes will receive double miles on all rentals made with Budget in Europe and South Africa, from now until December 15.
