Passengers on Bmibaby’s 1930 flight from Manchester to Prague this evening (Friday August 13) will be able to enjoy a live performance by an acclaimed opera singer from the Prague State Opera.

Soprano vera Likerova will give a ten-minute performance of “traditional operatic melodies”, introduced by Dr Jitka Slavikova, a member of the opera’s management.

Bmibaby says the initiative, nicknamed “enterplanement”, aims to give acts “the chance to showcase the culture and tradition of their country as well as raising awareness of local acts and businesses”. The carrier will be showcasing a number of different destinations in the near future including Venice.
