Bmi and Oman Air have signed a codeshare agreement allowing customers to book flights from Bmi’s UK departure points through to Oman Air’s hub in Muscat.
Effective today (April 1), the agreement covers Bmi’s departures from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Belfast and Manchester, via London Heathrow and on to Muscat with Oman Air.
Oman Air operates its new A330 aircraft on the London-Muscat route, offering fully flat beds in business class and wifi / mobile phone coverage throughout the aircraft. For economy, business and first class reviews of this service click here.
The carrier’s daily flight departs London at 2125, arriving in Oman at 0840 the next day. BA is the only other airline offering direct flights between London and Muscat, with a daily departure at 0930, arriving in Oman at 2230, using B777 aircraft.
