British Airways has extended its premium cabin pre-order service to long-haul flights from Gatwick.
The service allows First, Club World and World Traveller Plus passengers to select their meal prior to travel, guaranteeing them their first choice.
The carrier launched the pre-order facility on selected Heathrow services in 2014 (see news November 2014).
It has since been extended to all long-haul Heathrow routes, and was most recently added as an option on flights from Heathrow to Beirut, Cairo, Baku, Tel Aviv and Amman (see news December 7, 2015).
The service is now available on all long-haul routes from Gatwick, with the exception of indirect flights to destinations including indirect Grenada, Providenciales (Turks and Caicos), Saint Kitts and Tobago.
Customers can pre-order their meal online between 24 hours and 30 days before their flight, using the “Manage My Booking” option.
