Aloft to open on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah

Starwood has announced a new Aloft property to be located on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah. The 192-room Aloft Dubai, The Palm will be situated on the right side of the Palm’s crescent, and will be the brand’s first resort property in the Middle East, with access to the beach. Scheduled to open in 2018, it will also be the first mid-market hotel on the world’s largest man-made island. Features will include platform beds, large walk-in showers, the brand’s signature Wxyz bar, a fitness centre, outdoor pool, all-day dining and speciality restaurants, and four meeting rooms. Starwood is also due to open Palm Jumeirah properties under its W and St Regis brands in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
