A380 fans can sample Air France’s superjumbo on the Paris-Montreal route this October, as part of the 60th anniversary of Air France in Canada.
The one-off scheduled A380 flight will operate on October 7, with flight AF346 departing Paris CDG at 1610, arriving into Montreal at 1730. The superjumbo will then return on flight AF347 at 1950, landing back into Paris at 0835 the next day. Both legs are available for purchase online at airfrance.co.uk
Air France launched its A380 in October last year (see online news October 30, 2009), and currently operates the superjumbo on routes to New York and Johannesburg. The carrier is also due to start A380 services to Tokyo from September 1 (see online news June 8).
There are currently five airlines operating the superjumbo – SIA, Emirates, Qantas, Air France and Lufthansa. For more details on the layout and seating products adopted by each carrier, click here.
