Air Asia X has restarted flights between Kuala Lumpur and New Delhi.
The airline resumed services to the Indian capital after discontinuing the route along with Mumbai four years ago because of “high airport costs”.
The carrier is offering all-inclusive one-way fares to Kuala Lumpur starting at Rs 6,790 (£69) for standard seats and Rs 29,990 (£305) for premium flatbed seats, for bookings made by February 14, for travel between February 4 and June 30.
“We are excited to be here (again) today. We now have stronger foundation to be in the market, complementing the existing route network of our affiliates AirAsia Berhad, Thai AirAsia and AirAsia India, in addition to the growing demand for connectivity between New Delhi and Kuala Lumpur,” said Air Asia X CEO Ben Ismail.
AirAsia X is a long-haul, low-cost subsidiary of Malaysia-based Air Asia.
