Accor's Pullman brand debuts in Barcelona

Accor has opened the first of its business-oriented Pullman Hotels brand in Barcelona, located in the Olympic Port district of the city.
Formerly operating as the AB Skipper, the rebranded Pullman Barcelona Skipper is the second Pullman property in Spain following the opening of the Pullman Madrid Airport and Feria last year.
The hotel is situated within Barcelona’s Olympic Port, close to the beach and around ten minutes from both the city centre and Barcelona International Convention Centre. The property has 241 rooms, five restaurants / bars, two outdoor swimming pools, spa facilities, and a convention centre with nine function rooms.
Accor relaunched its Pullman brand in 2007 (see online news September 3, 2007), aimed primarily at business travellers. The group says it will have 50 Pullman properties in 23 countries by the end of this year.
