Accorhotels has announced the opening of Ibis Chennai City Centre. The 155-room hotel is located on Mount Road and is the group's third hotel in Chennai and its twelfth in the region.
Located on Chennai’s central Mount Road, the new property includes a selection of food and beverage outlets, including a multi-cuisine restaurant providing all-day breakfast.
Jean-Michel Cassé, senior vice president, operations, Accorhotels, India, said: “The opening of the Ibis Chennai City Centre is a strategic milestone for the Ibis brand in India. The opening... strengthens our brand presence in Chennai and adds to the growing Ibis network.”
The new property is a continuation of Accorhotels recent expansion in India, with the group opening a joint Pullman and Novotel property in New Delhi late last year (see news November 6, 2015).
