Deutsche Hospitality has partnered with India-based MBD Group to launch a luxury hotel in Bengaluru by 2020. “Zephyr” – a five-star hotel will launch under the Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts brand of Deutsche Hospitality. It will be a mixed-use complex, consisting of luxury serviced apartments and hotel rooms. The property will entail 178 rooms and suites along with 123 luxury serviced apartments.
The hotel will have an all-day dining area serving cuisines including Chinese, Indian and Italian. There will also be a tea-lounge, a club lounge, an exclusive club and bar.
It will house 2,229 sqm of convention space, along with a spa, salon and pool. There will also be a sports centre that will include a jogging track and a tennis court.
The interiors of the property will be designed by Studio Papiri and the design plan of the building will be curated by Steelman Partners.
Looking at the next 15 years, Deutsche Hospitality projects to open 20 hotels around the country.
