Wyndham Hotels has announced the opening of its first Greek property.
Located in the Greek capital’s business district, the Wyndham Grand Athens has 276 rooms including 27 suites, offering views across the Acropolis and Mount Lycabettus. Rooms come with 43-inch LED TVs, a working desk, an Espresso machine, ironing facilities and mini bar.
Other features include a 24-hour business centre, spa, gym, rooftop pool, plus two restaurants serving Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. It also has 2,500 sqm of meeting space and car parking on site.
A 40-minute drive from Athens International airport, the hotel is within walking distance of Metaxourgeio metro and bus station. Nearby attractions include the Benaki Museum and the Acropolis museum.
In 2018, Marriott is also set to open to Athens in partnership with local hotel group Chandris Hotels, offering 366 rooms.
