State-owned Air India is the first carrier to start commercial flight services to and from Bhatinda, a city in Punjab.

On December 11, the Star Alliance Member launched thrice weekly, direct flights between Delhi and Bhatinda.

On Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, flight AI9621 takes off from Delhi at 1215 and lands in Bhatinda at 1345. Return flight AI9622 departs from Bhatinda at 1415 and arrives at Delhi at 1545.

Air India deploys its 70-seat ATR 72-600 on this 274km route.
