India’s full-service national carrier, Air India will increase its New Delhi-San Francisco frequency to six times a week from November 21.

Currently the airline flies the route on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.

Flight AI-173 (16 hours 15 minutes) takes off from New Delhi at 0235 and lands in San Francisco at 0600.

Return flight AI-174 (16 hours 55 minutes) leaves San Francisco at 1030 and reaches New Delhi at 1615.

From November 21, Air India will additionally fly the route on Monday, Thursday and Saturday; it will follow the same schedule as it does for the other days.

A Boeing 777-200 will continue to fly between New Delhi and San Francisco.
